The BI 9000 Home Escort System has been an industry standard for electronic monitoring for years. It is a continuous signaling system which securely and accurately reports the location of an offender at their home during specified times.  It's Host system, monitored from EzTrac’s Monitoring Center, can report activities to the field by fax, phone, pager or remote terminal in the manner the supervising officer wishes . It's transmitter attaches with 4 screws, 2 rails, and a one-time use strap.  Tools are a hex driver and two pairs of snips.  The two way tamper technology (strap-cut and body proximity), re-set themselves after 16 minutes and eliminates the need for an activator. It employs dual antennae for cleaner signaling and field replaceable battery good for approximately one year of continuous use.

The BI Receiver is about the size of a book and installs easily in the home within 20 minutes by plugging it into an RJ11 jack and providing it AC power.  It has a 12-hour backup battery, 64-event memory and is very tolerant of substandard wiring and telephones sometimes found in participant homes.  This unit is considered the standard in the industry with more in use around the country than any other manufacturer.
